In this article I am going to show how to disable telemetry and data collection in windows 10. Windows 10 includes a telemetry service that automatically sends diagnostic and usage data about your computer to Microsoft. These settings have caused a lot of controversy since Windows 10’s release. The telemetry feature has come and enable by default to collect all user’s activity and sends it to Microsoft. Microsoft has provided no way to disable this feature in windows 10 pro, windows 10 Home user. But Microsoft has provided way to disable this feature (Telemetry and Data Collection) only in Windows 10 Enterprise. Don’t worry I have mad ways to keep help you to know how disable send your device data to Microsoft in windows 10 home pro and home users.
Check out the Diagnostic and usage Data options as described by Microsoft.
- Basic. This level includes information about security settings, quality-related info (such as crashes and hangs), and application compatibility. Microsoft considers this information essential for maintaining and improving the quality of Windows 10. It contains only anonymous identifiers and can’t be used to identify an individual device or person.
- Enhanced. This level includes the Basic information and adds details about how Windows and Windows apps are used, how they perform, and advanced reliability info.
- Full. This setting, which is the default for Windows 10, includes all information from the previous levels, plus “additional details necessary to identify and help to fix problems.” Presumably, this category includes error reports and mini-dump files after serious crashes.
